A Draft Corrective Measures Study has been submitted to NYSDEC which considers final corrective measure alternatives for the site. The final corrective measures are intended to attain the cleanup objectives set for this site for the protection of public health and the environment.
NYSDEC, in consultation with NYSDOH, is evaluating the study and will prepare a Statement of Basis explaining the proposed final corrective measures. The Statement of Basis is expected to be released for public comment in late 2024.
Once NYSDEC finalizes the Statement of Basis, an online repository of documents relating to the corrective measures study and permit application will be established on this webpage. The community will have an opportunity to submit comments on the proposed corrective measures prior to a final decision.
